Every six years the Sisters of the Good Samaritan gather in Chapter to elect a new Congregational Leader and Council, and to discern future life and mission. At our 2017 Chapter, we committed to a statement giving shape and direction to our life of prayer and service.
GOOD SAMARITAN STATEMENT OF DIRECTIONS
As Good Samaritans we listen to the Spirit calling us
to act boldly and courageously to:
by nurturing a culture of mutuality;
by committing to ecological conversion;
by fostering ecclesial community; and
by embracing God’s mission in partnership.
The Good Samaritan Statement of Directions
Act Boldly and Courageously is the final in a series of videos on the Good Samaritan Statement of Directions by Sr Elizabeth Dowling RSM, based on her workshop presentations to all Good Samaritans.
